General Submissions:
What We’re Looking For…
We are currently accepting all erotic romance genres in three different heat levels. We want to see strong stories that stand on their own if the sex was omitted. We are looking for the build up of passion, the explosion of a sexual relationship between characters, and not just a story with one sex scene after another. Sex in the stories must be descriptive, titillating for the reader, further the plot and be original; no purple prose will be accepted.
Romance is the key to our stories. The stories must hold on their own if the sex scenes are omitted. Stories must have well developed characters, with depth and explosive chemistry that entice the reader to like and/or identify with them. Mix in an imaginative and fully realized plot, vivid settings, and clear dialog and you’ve got the ingredients for a story we’d be interested in publishing.
We do not accept literary Erotica submissions. Manuscripts with obvious grammar, formatting and editing issues will not be considered. Make sure your work is critiqued and polished prior to submitting.
Taboo subjects include pedophilia, rape or incest, necrophilia, hate messages to any race, gender, religion, or sexuality, bestiality, main characters under the age of 18, and our definition of pornography. We reserve the right to refuse submissions based on other subjects we deem inappropriate.

F.A.Q
Don’t see the answer to your questions below, email the Publisher, Tina@liquidsilverbooks.com
Will my book be edited?
Yes! Although we do expect your submission to be critiqued, self-edited for grammar and spelling errors. Your book will be assigned to an editor who will work with you to polish it for publication. We do not change your story or your voice, but help you to make it shine.
How long will it take for my book to be published if accepted?
Four months from contract to release is a good guideline, but it could easily be faster or slower.
Can I use my own cover art?
There is a definite look and feel we want for our covers. We have highly trained professional artists waiting to create the cover of your dreams. Your responsibility is to convey your cover ideas to the artist with clarity and as many details as you can imagine.
Will my book be in Print?
We are foremost an ePublisher. We believe the market will continue to grow for eBooks. It is our prime focus. We do offer print publishing through print-on-demand services. Books considered for print are chosen by the Publishers and must meet various criteria we assign.
How often are royalties paid?
Five times a year – four standard quarterly payments in January, April, July and October, plus a special December payment to close out the year.
If I get a rejection, can I resubmit?
Yes, we do look at resubmissions, especially if we’ve given you revision suggestions. Please resubmit according to the first submission guidelines, unless directed otherwise by the Acquisitions Editor. If we did not offer revision suggestions, then you might want to check our guidelines again to be sure your submission fit our criteria.
Do you accept simultaneous submissions?
We do take simultaneous submissions, but your submission will not receive any higher priority. However, we request that you honor our time and keep us informed to the status.
Do you accept previously published books?
For now, we are limiting acceptance of previously published books to current LSB authors. If you have a previously published work you’d like us to consider, you must submit an unpublished original manuscript and be accepted before we will consider your previously published title.
